l’Autopede Dodge Carousel Car by Karel Baeyens, Belgium, 1960s

Hierbij aangeboden een extreem zeldzame L'Autopede Kermis wagen in ongersetaureerde en originele staat.

Het betreft hier een uniek exemplaar welke op een houten piste rond reed en aangedreven werd met een eigen elektro motor met mechanische regelaar.

De motor is niet meer aanwezig.

De wagen werd opgefrist met  zeer veel passie en geduld, toonbaar en compleet gemaakt met enkele hand gemaakt onderdelen.

 

Deze decoratieve wagen kan tevens gehuurd worden voor foto grafie of als tijdelijke decoratie in een winkel of garage toonzaal aan -25 € / dag en een waarborg van -1500 € die terugbekomen word na onbeschadigde retour.

 

 

A unique, very rare Dodge carousel car designed by Karel Baeyens, produced by l’Autopede in Ghent, Belgium, circa 1960. This eye-catching piece has been beautifully renewed after it’s original standards. It is made of metal, in his Originel factorie Color, with chrome-plated details. The seats are upholstered in red fauxe leather. It even has a windshield and the original l’Autopede manufacturer’s tag. All together this car is an impressive find and a true piece of history. It has been a carousel car for many years and is now ready to steal the show as an amazing collectable. It remains in perfect, completely and professionally cleanid onrestored condition! This is a much sought-after pieces by l’Autopede and an absolutely amazing find!

It started by coincidence, when Bertje Ceuninck -who worked at a fair-, bumped into Baeyens’ child that was playing in a tiny car made just for him by his father. Ceuninck asked who made the car, and a partnership was born! After some necessary pushing by Cueninck, Baeyens decided to work with him and the first l’Autopede carousel cars were born. Their cars excel is quality, craftsmanship and design. Nowadays they are much sought-after collectables.
